Terms of Service

Last updated · May 13, 2026

By using Cosmeview, you agree to these terms. They’re written to be readable, not bulletproof — we’d rather you understand them than skip them.

What Cosmeview is

Cosmeview publishes independent reviews, ingredient breakdowns, and editorial guides about cosmetics. Our reviews reflect the considered opinions of our editors based on our own testing and research. They are not medical advice and not a substitute for a consultation with a dermatologist or licensed healthcare provider. Always patch-test new products and stop use if irritation occurs.

Accounts

You can read everything on Cosmeview without an account. If you want to comment, you sign in with Google. You agree not to impersonate others, post spam, post content that violates the law, or harass other commenters. We can remove comments and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You own the comments you write. By posting them on Cosmeview, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on the site. You can delete your comments at any time when signed in. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymize your comments.

Our content

Articles, reviews, photography, and editorial structure on Cosmeview are © Cosmeview. You may link to our content freely. You may quote short passages with attribution. Reposting full articles, scraping for AI training datasets, or commercial reuse requires written permission.

Affiliate links and editorial independence

Cosmeview is independent. We do not accept free samples or paid placements in exchange for coverage. If we ever use affiliate links for products we review, we will disclose this clearly on the article and the inclusion of any product is based on editorial merit alone. We never let an affiliate relationship change a score or shape a conclusion.

Things we can’t promise

  • That the site will be available without interruption. We try, but things break.
  • That every fact is current. Cosmetics reformulate; we update reviews when we’re aware of meaningful changes, but the date-stamp on each article tells you when it was last verified.
  • Any specific outcome from using a product we review. Skin is individual.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Cosmeview is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Your sole remedy if you’re unhappy with the site is to stop using it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and announce the change on the homepage. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes go to the courts of Delaware.
